This vision became Bikalpa Art Center (BAC), founded in 2013 by the artist-educator couple Saroj Mahato and Mahima Singh. Bikalpa Art Center began as a vibrant social hub and cultural center in Kathmandu, where traditional artisans and contemporary artists could engage in a dynamic exchange of ideas.
